This loudspeaker is the ideal choice for sensitive application areas such as prisons and industrial environments where plastics or wood cannot be used.

The 6W speaker is equipped with a 165 mm full-range driver and a 100V transformer with three power taps. In addition, the unit features a high-performance strobe light with impressive specifications:

The new ultra–cold white 3W LED delivers extremely bright and highly visible strobe signalling, offering a colour temperature of 20,000 K and up to 200 lumens of light output. Thanks to its wide 140° beam angle, the illumination remains uniform and easily perceptible even under demanding conditions. The strobe LED operates at a supply voltage of 24V DC.

The extremely robust metal housing in RAL 9010 with corrosion-resistant powder coating provides exceptional durability while maintaining a discreet appearance. Additional operational safety is ensured by the integrated 2-pin ceramic terminal block, a thermal fuse, and the moisture impregnation of the loudspeaker chassis.

The speaker is also protected against environmental influences with an IP21C rating and complies with British Standard BS 5839, Part 8.

ic audio loudspeakers are tested and classified according to the IEC standard 60529 (degree of protection by enclosure) against the penetration of foreign objects and moisture. The classification is conforming to standards through characterization with a fixed code. This code consists of the letters IP (International Protection) followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the degree of protection against dust and the second digit the degree of protection against water. Please note that the testing of the products has been carried out in laboratory conditions which are not always 100% comparable with the conditions of different installation environments. This protection can be reduced due to normal wear and tear depending on the installation environment.

The IP rating specified is based on ic audio test results, not on CNBOP-PIB test results. Certification only verifies the minimum requirements for EN54-24 compliance.
