The 30W powered music horn has been specifically developed for marine applications under demanding environmental conditions and features a MED certification for use in shipboard public address systems.

The 2-way loudspeaker is equipped with a 100V line transformer and offers four selectable power tapping options for flexible system integration. Additional operational safety is provided by an integrated thermal fuse.

The impact-resistant and UV-stabilised ABS enclosure in RAL 7035 ensures high mechanical stability and long-term durability. With a protection rating of IP66, the loudspeaker is reliably protected against dust, powerful water jets and harsh environmental influences in marine environments.

Installation is carried out using a U-shaped universal mounting bracket made of AISI 316 stainless steel, including AISI 316 stainless steel mounting screws, ensuring corrosion-resistant and secure installation.

ic audio loudspeakers are tested and classified according to the IEC standard 60529 (degree of protection by enclosure) against the penetration of foreign objects and moisture. The classification is conforming to standards through characterization with a fixed code. This code consists of the letters IP (International Protection) followed by two digits. The first digit indicates the degree of protection against dust and the second digit the degree of protection against water. Please note that the testing of the products has been carried out in laboratory conditions which are not always 100% comparable with the conditions of different installation environments. This protection can be reduced due to normal wear and tear depending on the installation environment.
